Karnataka Assembly passes Bill to raise reservation quotas for SC, STs - Details here

The Bill passed on December 26 aims to replace an ordinance that the Karnataka cabinet had approved, effectively hiking the reservation for SC and ST community from 15 percent to 17 percent and 3 percent to 7 percent respectively.
