Sensex slips 500 points, Nifty at 9,100; HDFC Bank, Titan fall

Indian benchmark indices opened in green on Tuesday (March 16) but after a positive start, the indices shed all its gains with the Sensex plunging 527.17 points or 1.68% at 30,863.06 and the Nifty down 73.40 points or 0.80% at 9,124.
