Equity indices were in the red during early hours on Tuesday amid mixed global cues but software major Infosys plunged by nearly 13 per cent after a whistleblower complaint accused senior company officials of indulging in unethical practices. At 10:15 am, the BSE S&P Sensex was down by 77 points at 39,222 while the Nifty 50 edged lower higher by 1 point to 11,660.
