Smriti Irani, BJP's giant killer who defeated Rahul Gandhi in Amethi

BJP leader Smriti Irani defeated Congress president Rahul Gandhi in Amethi Lok Sabha constituency by a margin of 55,120 votes in a major setback for the grand old party. Smriti Irani polled 4,68,514 votes while Rahul Gandhi secured 4,13,394 votes as per the Election Commission.
